New Balance Energy (NBE) is a renewable ammonia development and investment platform focused on large-scale export projects in Latin America.
NBE addresses one of the key bottlenecks in the energy transition: the gap between early-stage project announcements and FID-ready, investment-grade assets. While global demand for clean ammonia is accelerating, few projects reach the technical maturity, commercial alignment, and risk allocation required to unlock capital at scale.
The company selectively invests in high-potential projects and acts as an active co-developer, applying proprietary diligence and risk management frameworks across technical, regulatory, commercial, and value-chain dimensions.
Through a network of experienced Strategic Technical Partners (STPs) and early engagement with offtakers and infrastructure stakeholders, NBE strengthens engineering quality, improves bankability, and systematically advances projects toward Final Investment Decision (FID).
NBE is currently advancing a portfolio of export-oriented renewable ammonia projects in the Southern Cone, positioning the platform to build a diversified, investment-grade development portfolio aligned with the next wave of global clean energy infrastructure.
