Angelo Beati is an accomplished professional in the nuclear energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Innovation for Manufacturing and Industrialisation at newcleo since June 2022. In this role, Angelo has been pivotal in launching a nuclear energy start-up in France, focusing on the design and operation of Gen-IV SMR Lead-cooled Fast Reactors, swiftly growing the team from 5 to over 85 employees and securing key agreements within the industry. Prior to newcleo, Angelo held various leadership positions at Orano and Areva, including Senior Sales Manager and Key Account Manager, where responsibilities encompassed business development, strategy, and innovative project management across international markets. With a Master's in Nuclear Engineering from Università di Pisa and executive training from Harvard Business School, Angelo brings extensive expertise in innovation, sales, and project management in both nuclear and renewable energy fields.
