Fabio Moretti

Fabio Moretti is an accomplished professional in the field of nuclear engineering with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as the Head of the R&D Thermal Hydraulics Unit at newcleo since December 2021, Moretti has previously held significant roles including Charter Member and Head of the 3D Fluid and Structural Mechanics Area at N.IN.E. - Nuclear and Industrial Engineering Srl from July 2011 to January 2022, as well as Coordinator of the Computational Fluid Dynamics Area at the San Piero a Grado Nuclear Research Group (GRNSPG) at the University of Pisa from September 2003 to January 2022. Moretti earned a PhD in Nuclear and Industrial Safety from Università di Pisa between 2005 and 2008, following a Laurea v.o. (equivalent to MSc) in Nuclear Engineering from the same university, completed in 2003.
