Remi Moritz

Remi Moritz is currently serving as the Référent codes et réglementation des équipements sous pression nucléaires at newcleo since July 2023. With extensive experience at Framatome from April 2004 to July 2023, roles included Mechanical Training Manager responsible for mechanical training involving AFCEN and ASME codes, SFR Primary Component Design Engineer for the ASTRID project, Piping Interface Engineer managing configuration processes, and Piping and Layout Engineer for the EPR reactor. Prior to Framatome, Remi worked at SOPRA SA as a Mechanical Design Engineer focusing on optical instruments, a Graduate Trainee at Snecma researching titanium alloys, and as a CAD Draftsman at Technicrea SA supporting ALSTOM Gas Turbines. Remi obtained an Engineer's degree in Mechanics - Materials from ENSMA, trained as a fighter pilot at the French Air Force Pilot School, and holds a Diplome Universitaire de Technologie in Thermics and Energetics from Institut Universitaire de Technologie Belfort.
