Simon Pirmet

Simon Pirmet is a nuclear engineer currently serving as the Global Licensing Manager at newcleo since 2025. Previously, Simon worked as a Neutronics Researcher at Idaho National Laboratory and held various roles within EDF, including Project Manager and Technical Coordinator for the EPR2 Project. Simon also served as Deputy Head of Unit at the Direction générale du Trésor and as an Insurance Supervisor at the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution. Simon completed a Master of Engineering in General Engineering and Nuclear Engineering from École Polytechnique and holds a postgraduate degree in Public and Business Administration from Corps des Mines.
