Remko Wirken

Remko Wirken is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Director Finance Europe and European Business Controller at NewCold since January 2020. Previously, Remko held the position of General Manager France at Trouw Nutrition France from July 2017 to December 2019, where responsibilities included strategy formulation, team building, supply chain management, and exploring partnerships. Remko also worked at Trouw Nutrition from September 2011 to July 2017, first as Area Manager France overseeing sales activities and then as Business Controller managing finance and control for exports to 55 countries. Earlier roles include Project Member Finance and Assistant Controller at Selko Feed Additives, focusing on financial strategy execution and reporting. Remko holds a postdoctoral degree in Register Controller from Maastricht University and a Master of Science in International Business Administration from the same institution, with additional education from the University of Bristol.
