Chris Varley

Chris Varley is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in information security and technology risk management. Currently serving as Security Architect and Engineer at NewDay since October 2018, Chris has previously held prominent roles including Enterprise Security Architect and Head of Security Operations at Provident Financial Group from November 2016 to September 2018. Prior positions at NewDay from April 2014 to October 2016 included Head of Information Security. Chris's career also includes significant roles at Produban, Santander UK, GE Money, Time Retail Finance, BCS Ltd, and Baron Systems Ltd, demonstrating a broad skill set across various aspects of security architecture and risk management. Educational background includes a degree from Bangor University, completed between 1992 and 1995.
