Daniel Robertson

Daniel Robertson is an experienced technology professional with a diverse background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, and database administration. Currently serving as the SRE Team Lead at NewDay since May 2019, Daniel re-introduced the SRE role and leads a team focused on providing product teams with essential capabilities and standards for building robust applications. Prior to this, Daniel held various positions including Senior Platform Engineer and Site Reliability Engineer at NewDay, and roles such as DevOps Engineer and Database Administrator at Hiscox. With a foundational career featuring positions at TransUnion UK, Civica, and other companies, Daniel has developed expertise in CI/CD standards, automation, and performance enhancements across multiple database technologies. Daniel holds a BSc in Marine Biology from the University of Portsmouth.
