Joe Walters

Joe Walters is an experienced engineering lead and senior manager with a strong background in software development and team leadership. Currently at NewDay since May 2020, Joe manages the development of PSD2 compliant Strong Customer Authentication for digital payments and Open Banking solutions. Previously, Joe spent nearly two decades at Impellam Group in various roles, including team lead and technical solutions manager, where responsibilities included mentoring a development team and overseeing the integration of Azure services. Joe's early career includes significant contributions to software development for industries such as financial services and aviation, alongside a successful tenure at TND Studios focusing on mobile and desktop applications, achieving over 100 million game plays. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Nottingham Trent University.
