Ashlye Stewart

With 20 years of capital markets experience, Ms. Stewart has consulted on the origination of 58 social impact projects across 15 countries and brought impact investor commitments to 33 transactions totaling over $412 million since the founding of ASER Capital in 2011. Ms. Stewart also consulted on the strategy, structuring, and funding of two new impact investment funds for the Inter-American Development Bank: the Calvert Inter-American Opportunity Fund and The Missing Middle Fund.

In 2017 Ms. Stewart co-founded the Catalytique Foundation (“CF”), which provides technical assistance (e.g. train, mentor and fund) small businesses with high growth potential. Starting in Sub-Saharan Africa, with a focus on businesses that support women, innovation, and employment.

Prior to shifting her focus to impact investing in 2011, Ms. Stewart developed 13 years of mainstream structuring and portfolio management experience at KBC Financial Products, Quantek Asset Management (a Latin America ABI Fund) and Bank of America- Merrill Lynch.
