Peter Byrd

Peter Byrd is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the wireless and digital transformation sectors. Currently serving as the Wireless Business Leader and Digital Transformation Leader at New Era Technology since January 2019, Peter Byrd focuses on strategy, sales, and operations for the Comm-Works wireless business, driving revenue growth and enhancing service offerings. Prior to this role, Peter Byrd had a long tenure at Cisco from 2000 to 2018, holding various leadership positions, including Director of Digital Transformation and Managing Director of Cisco Consulting Services, where strategic initiatives aimed at industry solutions and revenue management were implemented. With earlier experience at Ericsson, where significant service revenue was generated and key network designs were executed, Peter Byrd combines strong leadership skills with a solid educational foundation in Data Science and Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and Texas A&M University, respectively.
