Rodney Tyler

Rodney Tyler is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in network engineering and systems support. Currently serving as a Senior Network Field Engineer and Team Lead at New Era Technology since February 2008, Rodney specializes in data network engineering, including the installation, configuration, and maintenance of networks and servers. Prior to this role, Rodney held positions at Vera Bradley as a Tier 2 Network Tech, focusing on domain administration and network troubleshooting, and at Avaya as a Senior Systems Engineer, where design and troubleshooting of telephony and data systems were key responsibilities. Rodney's career began in the United States Army, where service as a Patriot Systems Operator and Maintainer provided foundational technical skills and a security clearance. Education includes specialized training in Patriot Missile Systems from the United States Army and additional studies at Ivy Tech Community College.
