Christopher Butler

Christopher Butler is an accomplished design and operations leader currently serving as Chief Design Officer at Magnolia since January 2024 and holding the same title at Newfangled since September 2004. With extensive experience in shaping organizational processes and integrating strategic objectives into design practices, Christopher has also served in various leadership roles at Newfangled, including Chief Operating Officer, Vice President, and Director of Strategy & Resourcing. Christopher's background includes contributions as Program Director & Advisory Council Chair at F+W Media, Editor at Smashing Magazine, and a Contributing Editor at Print Magazine. Additionally, Christopher authored "The Strategic Web Designer" published in 2012 and has served as an adjunct faculty member at the Rhode Island School of Design. Christopher holds a BFA in Film/Animation/Video from the Rhode Island School of Design.
