Previously, John co-owned Sunset Beer Company, recognized as a premier beer store and bar in Los Angeles, from November 2011 to March 2022, and co-owned Colorado Wine Company from February 2004 to November 2014. John's diverse skill set extends across writing, production, and strategic planning roles at companies such as StoryBots, Monkey Deux, and JibJab Media. Academic credentials include a BA in English Literature from Providence College and a brief educational stint at University College Dublin.
