Adara Valdez

Adara Valdez has a diverse work experience history. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Interpretation Planner at Newfields, a role they started in May 2023. Adara also serves as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Operations Officer at Newfields, a position they began in September 2021.

Prior to their current roles, Adara worked at the Exceptional Children's Foundation from October 2018 to August 2021 as an Artist Mentor- Employment and Volunteer Coordinator. In this role, they managed a group of 52 adult client/artists with developmental disabilities, providing guidance and support for their professional development goals. San Jacinto College, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Arts and Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Humanities. Adara continued their studies at UCLA from 2011 to 2013, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Art History. In 2014, Adara pursued further education at the University of Glasgow, where they completed a Mlitt program in Technical Art History in 2015.

In addition to their academic degrees, Adara Valdez has obtained certifications in various fields. Adara earned certification in "Art as a Global Business: The Value of Art" from Sotheby's Institute of Art in August 2020. Adara also holds certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross, although the dates of obtaining this certification are not specified.
