Chris Morehead, CVA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. From 2001 to 2002, they worked as a Merchandising Assistant at Gap Inc. Chris then served as the General Manager at Champs Sports from 2002 to 2004, where they achieved a 100% APC Score and successfully decreased store shrinkage. Chris worked at Eastern Mountain Sports as an MIT/Acting General Manager from 2005 to 2006 and as an Events Manager at Highlife Adventures from 2006 to 2008.
In 2009, Chris transitioned to the role of Community Relations Manager at Barnes & Noble before joining the US Census Bureau as a Field Operations Supervisor from 2009 to 2010. Concurrently, they also held the position of President at Indy Pride, Inc. from 2011 to 2017, during which they played a leadership role in the organization. From 2014 to 2017, Chris served as a Regional Director at Interpride.
In 2015, Chris joined Newfields as the Manager of Volunteer Services, where they oversaw volunteer programs. Chris then progressed to the role of Assistant Director of Volunteerism and Community Engagement, followed by Director of Guest, Volunteer, and Community Experiences. Currently, Chris works as the Director of Experience Operations at Newfields, responsible for managing the overall visitor experience.

Chris Morehead, CVA holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they received between the years of 1996 and 2001. Prior to their university education, Chris obtained a high school diploma in General Studies from Rancho Bernardo High School. In terms of certifications, Chris has achieved the "Certified Volunteer Administrator" designation from the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration in November 2022. Additionally, they obtained the "Certified in Volunteer Administration (CVA)" certification from the same institution in April 2017.
