Christa Barleben

Christa Barleben is currently the Registrar for Exhibitions at Newfields since October 2021. Previously, Christa held roles at the Indiana State Museum & Historic Sites as an Arts and Culture Program Specialist from April 2008 to June 2012, and at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, where responsibilities included Collections Cataloger and Registrar from July 2012 to November 2012, as well as NAGPRA Collections Cataloger from November 2010 to June 2012. Christa Barleben earned a B.A. in Anthropology and Religious Studies from Ball State University between 2002 and 2006, followed by an M.A. in Museum Studies from Indiana University Indianapolis from 2007 to 2010.
