Gregory Smith

Sr. Conservation Scientist

Gregory Smith is a Senior Conservation Scientist at Newfields, a role held since 2010. They previously served as the Andrew W. Mellon Assistant Professor of Conservation Science at Buffalo State College from 2005 to 2009 and were a Samuel Golden Research Fellow at the National Gallery of Art from 2002 to 2004. Gregory earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Analytical Chemistry from Duke University between 1995 and 2000 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Anthropology, and Sociology from Centre College from 1991 to 1995.
