James Brown

James Brown is an experienced horticulturist currently working at Newfields since August 2023. Previously, James held multiple positions at Filoli from January 2018 to September 2023, including Lean Horticulturist, Lead Horticulturist, Assistant Horticulturalist, and Apprentice, where responsibilities included maintaining various garden areas and developing hands-on horticultural skills. Earlier experience includes a role as a Greenhouse worker and Teacher Aid at Brigham Young University - Idaho, and managing a horticulture farm. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Brigham Young University - Idaho and an Associate of Science in Horticulture from American River College.
