Daniel Peters started their work experience as an Engineering Summer Student in Machine Design at Northshore Engineering in May 2011. Daniel then worked as a Mechanical Engineering Technology Student at Red River College from September 2009 to December 2011, where they graduated with the highest GPA in their class and won the Boeing Canada Scholarship. In 2010, Daniel worked as an Engineering Summer Student in Tool Design at Magellan Aerospace, where they were involved in the reverse engineering of industrial tools and design of drill jigs and forming dies.
After completing their education, they joined New Flyer Industries in January 2012 as a Junior Designer, providing engineering production support. Daniel then advanced to the role of Intermediate Designer in July 2013, where they were responsible for designing interior bus components and ongoing product improvement initiatives. Daniel became the Engineering Lead in June 2016 and continued in that role until the present.
From 2009 to 2012, Daniel Peters attended Red River College Polytechnic, where they earned a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
