Tyler Shipman

Tyler Shipman, P.Eng, is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Currently serving as a Senior Design Engineer at New Flyer since October 2019, Tyler specializes in new product development. Prior to this role, Tyler was an Engineering Manager and Designer at B/E Aerospace from August 2011 to September 2019, focusing on cargo restraint systems and aircraft modifications. Earlier experience includes working as a Structural Analyst and Certification Specialist at ACS-NAI Ltd from May 2007 to August 2011, where Tyler conducted structural analysis and prepared certification documentation. Tyler's career began as a Special Processes and Materials Lab Technician at Magellan Aerospace UK Ltd in 2005. Tyler holds a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering with an Aerospace Option from the University of Manitoba, completed in 2007.
