Lucas Simons is a founder and leader in sustainable agricultural market transformation. They served as founder and CEO of NewForesight (2008–2023) and, since 2023, lead TransMission Institute as founder. They are founder and owner of SCOPEinsight (2010–Present). They co-authored Changing the Game (2021) and Changing the Food Game (2014), and were recognized as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader (2011) and as an Ashoka Fellow (2013–2023). Their education included an MSc in Environmental Hygiene & Policy from Wageningen University (1991–1997), an MBA in Strategic Management and Marketing (2000–2002), and executive education at Harvard Kennedy School (2014) as well as masterclasses at TiasNimbas (2009).
