Matt Davies has extensive experience in brand consultancy and strategy. Matt currently runs their own consultancy, Matt Davies Brand Consultancy, where they advise and consults for CEOs, MDs, CMOs, and CPOs to help them align their brand strategies and create meaningful brands. Matt also hosts the JUST Branding Podcast, dedicated to helping designers and entrepreneurs grow brands.

In addition, Matt serves as a brand strategy advisor for myforte, providing support to fintech scale-ups entering or expanding in the UK market. Matt is also a co-founder of VisionCamp®, a virtual visionary leadership masterclass.

Previously, Matt worked as the Head of Global Brand Strategy at Newfound, where they advised global businesses on internationalization and building their brands internationally. Matt also chaired global business events and collaborated with government bodies on oversea strategies.

Matt is involved in various editorial and educational roles. Matt is a member of the Editorial Committee and a columnist for Branders Magazine, a global branding publication. Matt is also an industry fellow at Nottingham Trent University, where they lecture, mentors, and helps students with mock interviews.

Matt has previous experience as the Director of Brand & Culture Strategy at The Surgery, where they advised and enhanced the agency's employer brand and internal communications strategies. Matt also served as the Chieftain of Brand at Fresh Movement and as the Director of Brand Strategy at Motto, where their projects contributed to the agency winning several awards.

Earlier in their career, Matt worked as the Creative Department Manager for Capital One, where they established the in-house Creative Studio and led the UK Creative Design team.

Matt Davies has a diverse education history. In 2019, they began their studies at Level C, where they pursued a certification in Branding. Matt completed the Certified Brand Specialist program in Brand Master Class Marty Neumeier. This was followed by a enrollment at Croydon College from 2001 to 2002, where they focused on Graphic Design.

In 2022, Matt embarked on a Constant Growth Experience program at Summit Consulting. Matt pursued a degree in Alan Weiss Growth Experience, specializing in Constant Growth.

Throughout their education journey, Matt acquired several additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These include being a Help To Grow Certified Mentor obtained from the Association of Business Mentors (ABM) in October 2022. Matt also obtained certifications such as the Certified Brand Architect - Master Class III from LEVEL C, completed with a live client Dr. Oetker in May 2022, and the Certified Brand Strategist - Master Class II from LEVEL C in November 2020.

Matt's additional certifications also include obtaining the Hello Design Thinking certification from IDEO U in May 2020, the Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner certification from IBM in April 2020, and the Certified Brand Specialist - Brand Master Class Marty Neumeier from LEVEL C in March 2019.

Furthermore, Matt earned various digital marketing certifications, including the Google Online Marketing Fundamentals from Google in February 2018 and the Twitter Flight School Graduate from Twitter in March 2017.

In addition to these certifications, they completed the 'Strategic Brand Development' course by Margaret Hartwell at How Design University in August 2016. Matt further gained several certifications from HubSpot, including the HubSpot Agency Partner Certification in October 2016, the Growth-Driven Design Certification in September 2016, the HubSpot Certification in August 2016, the Inbound Certification in August 2016, and the Inbound Sales Certification in August 2016.

Overall, Matt has pursued a comprehensive education, encompassing a range of specialties from branding and design to marketing and growth strategies.
