Robert Traverse

Robert Traverse has a diverse work experience background. Robert currently works as a Customer Service Representative at Newfoundland Power, starting in January 2021. Before that, they worked as a Service Specialist at Johnson Insurance from May 2020 to January 2021. Prior to their roles in the insurance industry, they served as a Human Resources Intern at Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information from April 2019 to August 2019. Robert also gained experience in accounting as an Accounting Intern at the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador from August 2018 to December 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Junior Business Analyst at PAL Airlines from January 2018 to April 2018. Robert also has experience in the maritime industry, serving as a Marine Engineer at the Woodward Group of Companies from 2011 to 2014. Before that, they worked as an Engineering Assistant at Canship Ugland Ltd from 2008 to 2011. Robert began their career in the Royal Canadian Navy as a Marine Engineer from 2004 until June 2009.

Robert Traverse earned their Diploma of Technology in Marine Engineering Technology from the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland. Robert completed this degree from 2007 to 2011. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business/Commerce, General from Memorial University of Newfoundland and completed it from 2015 to 2020.
