Electrical Engineering Technologist at Newfoundland Power

Timothy Small began their work experience in 2007 as a Computer Support Specialist Work Term at Unlimited Computers. Timothy then worked as a Customer Service Representative at Convergys Call Center until December 2008. Following this, they worked as a Clerk at Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation from December 2008 to September 2010. From September 2010 to January 2014, Timothy worked as a Sample Provider at PMA Canada. Timothy then joined Bell Aliant Telecommunications as a Consumer Service Technician from June 2011 to August 2012. In 2014 and 2015, they worked as an Electrical Technologist (work term) at Newfoundland Power. Timothy returned to Newfoundland Power in December 2015 and held the role of Power System Operator until February 2019. From February 2019 onwards, they have been working as an Electrical Engineering Technologist at the same company.

Timothy Small has a diverse education history. Timothy attended Herdman Collegiate from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a high school degree. Following that, they enrolled in the College of the North Atlantic and completed a Computer Support Specialist program from 2005 to 2007.

In 2010, Timothy pursued a Power Line Technician (Operating) program at the College of the North Atlantic, which they completed in 2011. Timothy obtained additional certifications during this time, including WHMIS in September 2010 from an unspecified institution and Air Brakes W/O Adjustment in May 2011 from the Department of Motor Vehicles.

From 2012 to 2015, Timothy continued their education at the College of the North Atlantic, specializing in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians.
