Steve Beck has been investing in start-ups in Africa since 2009, founding a private investor circle and co-founding Novastar Ventures in 2014, which now manages over $200 million. With two decades in management consulting, Steve advised Fortune 200 companies before transitioning to philanthropy, leading Geneva Global from 2002 to 2007. Currently, Steve serves on the boards of several organizations, including NewGlobe, Sanergy, and Elephant Healthcare. Steve holds an A.B. with Distinction from Stanford University and a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics.
