Alex Detweiler serves as the VP of Credit & Underwriting at NEWITY since October 2021, where the organization focuses on providing small business capital and supporting entrepreneurs in accessing necessary funds. NEWITY has successfully facilitated over $11 billion in SBA loans and tax credits since its inception in 2020. Prior to this role, Alex gained extensive experience at FTI Consulting, where responsibilities included serving as a Senior Consultant and Consultant in Forensic & Litigation Consulting from September 2015 to October 2021, as well as intern experience in the same sector in 2014. Additional earlier experience includes a consulting internship at Cook Street Consulting, Inc. in 2013. Alex Detweiler earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington in 2015.
