Pierre Merea

Pierre Merea is a technology leader who has spent their career in IT, focusing on the digital transformation of research and innovation in highly regulated environments. They are the Chief Executive Officer of newLab – Creating AI-Ready Labs and of Keralia Tech, positions held since 2015. They lead the newLab team to build a ServiceNow-native lab management platform that aims to streamline lab operations, regain control of lab infrastructure, eliminate data silos, and prepare for AI deployment. Previously, they served as General Manager at Synopse (1995–2014) and held roles as BU Manager at Digital (1986–1995) and Sales Rep at Bull (1982–1986); they earned Maitrise de sciences économiques from Université de Bordeaux (1975–1979) and an MBA in Strategy & Marketing from ESSEC (1981–1982).
