Shane Gopal

Shane Gopal is a seasoned professional in application engineering and product management with extensive experience across the technology and retail sectors. Since January 2022, Shane has been serving as a Senior Application Engineer at Newland EMEA. Prior to this role, Shane held the position of AIDC Product Manager at Tactile Technologies from May 2018 to July 2021, and worked as a Field Application Engineer at both COREX (PTY) LTD and Partnertech Africa (PTY) LTD from January 2015 to May 2018. Shane's career began in the retail sector as a High Risk Stock Controller at Massdiscounters t/a Game and Dionwired from December 2012 to December 2014, focusing on high risk item control and logistics management. Educationally, Shane holds a BCom in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification from Boston City Campus.
