Jeff Leon

Jeff Leon is a highly experienced Principal Materials Scientist at Newlight Technologies, Inc., since May 2015, with a strong background in material development for aerospace and electronics applications. Prior to this role, Jeff held several positions at Henkel Electronic Materials LLC, including Senior Research Scientist and Technical Lead, where expertise in novel materials and adhesive formulation for semiconductor packaging was demonstrated. Jeff's experience also includes a role as Business Scientist at Ablestik, focusing on the commercialization of electronic packaging materials, and ten years as a Senior Research Scientist at Eastman Kodak, where diverse projects in polymer synthesis and support for manufacturing operations were undertaken. Jeff holds a Postdoctoral degree in Polymer Chemistry from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Rochester, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University at Albany, SUNY.
