Simon Moi is an accomplished insurance executive with extensive experience in underwriting and risk management across Asia. Currently serving as the Chief Underwriting Officer for Newline Group since July 2024, Simon has held significant leadership roles, including Head of Professional and Financial Risks at Markel International from January 2010 to July 2024 and Greater China Financial Institutions Practice Leader at Chubb from April 2003 to December 2009. Prior to these positions, Simon worked as a Casualty Liability Underwriter at Gen Re from September 1998 to March 2003 and began their career as an intern at Chubb Insurance from 1996 to 1998. Simon holds a degree from NYU Stern School of Business.
