Andrew Porteous

Andrew Porteous currently serves as a Senior Managing Director at Newmark since August 2023. Prior to this role, a significant tenure at Morgan Stanley included the position of Head of the Texas Office within the Commercial Real Estate Group, focusing on CMBS and balance sheet originations from November 2015 to July 2023. Andrew's previous experience encompasses the role of Vice President at Deutsche Bank and Jones Lang LaSalle, specializing in CMBS and capital markets respectively, in addition to serving in a Vice President capacity at PBL Capital, a multi-strategy hedge fund. Initial career experience includes a Senior Analyst position at Comerica Bank from June 2005 to December 2006. Andrew holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Texas Christian University, where studies were completed from 2000 to 2004.
