Ben Schweitzer

Ben Schweitzer is an accomplished professional in the commercial real estate and proptech sectors, currently serving as the Head of Innovation for Capital Markets at Newmark since October 2024. Previously, Schweitzer worked as a Strategic Advisor at Verify, where a B2B proptech go-to-market strategy was developed. As a Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at GPARENCY, an innovative digital marketplace for commercial real estate, Schweitzer led the design, launch, and monetization efforts. Extensive experience at Freddie Mac included founding the Multifamily Innovation Lab and managing a substantial budget for technology initiatives, as well as co-founding a successful Small Balance Lending product. Earlier roles included managing underwriting teams at Core RE and UGL-Equis. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Real Estate Development and Finance from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Marketing from Muhlenberg College, complemented by an international business program at Macquarie University.
