Daniel Obrien

Daniel O'Brien is an accomplished real estate professional currently serving as Vice Chairman and Co-Head of the Private Capital Group at Newmark since October 2023. Previously, O'Brien held the position of Executive Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield from April 2019 to October 2023 and served as Director and Vice President at Eastdil Secured from July 2011 to April 2019. O'Brien began academic pursuits at The Wharton School, achieving an MBA in Real Estate and Finance between 2009 and 2011, after earning a degree from the University of Pennsylvania from 1999 to 2003. Experience also includes a summer associate role at The LeFrak Organization and an investment associate position at Marcus & Millichap from 2006 to 2009.
