Dave Maisel

Dave Maisel is an experienced professional in enterprise risk management and asset management with over 25 years in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Senior Managing Director at Newmark since November 2018, Dave has implemented a value-add risk framework and led initiatives to increase servicing revenues. Previously, at Berkeley Point Capital LLC from February 2012 to October 2018, Dave held multiple leadership roles focused on asset management and enterprise risk, successfully expanding portfolio initiatives. Prior experiences include significant positions at Deutsche Bank, where Dave managed credit risk during the 2008 financial crisis, and at Berkshire Mortgage Finance, overseeing a $3 billion portfolio. Dave holds a Master of Science in Real Estate with a concentration in Finance from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Towson University.
