J. Ryan Lang

J. Ryan Lang is an accomplished real estate executive currently serving as Executive Vice Chairman and Head of Newmark Student Housing since May 2015. With extensive experience in investment sales, capital markets, equity solutions, and advisory services, Lang has completed approximately $35 billion in real estate transactions throughout a career that includes positions at leading firms. Prior to Newmark, Lang was Vice President at CBRE, co-leading the National Student Housing Group, and served as Head of Multi-Family Investments at Stirling Properties, where performance accolades included being recognized as the #1 capital markets producer for two consecutive years. Lang began the career as an Investment Associate at Marcus & Millichap, specializing in multi-family and mixed-use properties in New York City, and has earned notable awards for achievements in sales. Lang holds a BSBA in Marketing from the University of Florida and previously attended Jacksonville University.
