Jonathan Siegel

Jonathan Siegel serves as President of Global Retail, Newmark Retail Services. Siegel joined Newmark from Open Realty Advisors, an esteemed global retail commercial real estate firm acquired by Newmark in 2022. As the President of Global Retail, Siegel advises clients in asset management and expansion strategies domestically and internationally. A 34-year industry veteran, Siegel has successfully completed over 1,000 lease transactions for highly esteemed clients such as Apple, Restoration Hardware (RH) and J. Crew.

Siegel came to Newmark after serving as a Managing Member at Open Realty Advisors for 25 years. In this role, Siegel managed the initial domestic and international retail growth for Apple, opening and developing 250 stores in North America and 10 stores in Hong Kong. Previously, Siegel was a Director of Real Estate Legal Affairs and a Real Estate Director for Michaels Stores, where he oversaw rapid growth for Michaels retail assets.
