Matt Berres is a Vice Chairman at Newmark, specializing in the National Net Lease Capital Markets Group, where they provide advisory services on net leased properties across the United States. With over thirteen years of experience in commercial real estate, Matt has successfully closed more than 100 net lease transactions, totaling over $1 billion in volume, serving a diverse client base. Previously, they held positions as an Executive Managing Director at Newmark and Managing Director at JLL, and they began their career as a professional golfer, bringing a strong focus and work ethic to their current role. Matt holds a BBA in Finance, Investments, and Banking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
