Mitchell Clarfield

Mitchell Clarfield is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in multifamily finance and structured finance. Currently serving as the Executive Vice Chairman at Newmark since October 2001, Mitchell leads a team that specializes in sourcing, structuring, and underwriting multifamily loans nationwide. Prior to this role, responsibilities included Vice Chairman and Executive Managing Director at ARA Newmark and Berkeley Point Capital, which later became Newmark Knight Frank. Additional experience includes serving as Managing Director at Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage, Director at Carbon Mesa Advisors, Founder and President & CEO of Secured Capital Corp, and co-founder and Senior Vice President at Drexel Burnham Lambert. Mitchell's educational background includes an MBA in Real Estate Finance from The Wharton School and a summa cum laude B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Fairfield University.
