Seth Genende is the Senior Counsel and Director of Corporate/M&A at Newmark, a position held since 2023. They previously served as Counsel in Mergers and Acquisitions at Thrasio from 2021 to 2023 and as an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP from 2016 to 2021. Seth began their career with internships at US Realty Advisors and PwC in 2009 and 2010, respectively. They earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Columbia Law School in 2016 and a BBA with a focus in CPA Accounting and Finance from Emory University's Goizueta Business School in 2011.
