Daniel Elegent

Daniel Elegent has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Currently, they are a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Blue Green Solutions, a leading Siemens Mendix Partner in Europe and APAC, specializing in innovative software solutions. Prior to this, they were a Managing Director at NewOak Capital Markets LLC and a Founder & Partner at Zion Capital Advisory, both in 2022.

In their previous role at Allianz Trade, Daniel held various positions from 2013 to 2022, including Senior Business Development in ASEAN, Commercial Manager, and Senior Business Development Manager in Malaysia. Daniel was also a Business Development Manager at Allianz Trade from 2013 to 2014.

At UOB, their early career included roles such as Relationship Manager, Assistant Vice President from 2008 to 2013, Accounts Relationship Manager from 2006 to 2008, and Senior Operations Manager from 2004 to 2006.

Daniel Elegent has a diverse education history. In 1996, they completed high school at SMKTI, focusing on Biology/Biological Science. Daniel then pursued a Certificate in Business Management from Universiti Sains Malaysia from 2002 to 2003. In 2021, Daniel obtained a Cert SCI (General Insurance) from the Singapore College of Insurance. Continuing their education, in 2022, they enrolled in the University of Roehampton to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel has obtained several certifications. In December 2021, they acquired the Cert SCI (General Insurance) from the Singapore College of Insurance. Daniel also earned additional certifications from the same institution, including Personal General Insurance and Basic Insurance Concepts and Principles (BCP) in September 2021, as well as Commercial General Insurance (ComGI) in September 2021.

Daniel has also pursued certifications through LinkedIn. In February 2020, they completed courses in "Delivering Bad News to a Customer" and "Managing in Difficult Times." In January 2020, they attained certifications in "Communicating with Empathy" and "Sales Navigator." Additionally, in January 2020, they earned a certification in "Sales: Customer Success."
