David Patterson

David Paterson has a strong background in the oil and gas industry, with significant experience in various leadership roles. David most recently served as the President of Fluid Systems and Corporate Vice President at Newpark Resources, Inc. Prior to that, they were the President of Pressure Pumping at Weir Oil and Gas. David also held multiple leadership positions at Schlumberger, including President of Artificial Lift, President of Geoservices, and Vice President of Drilling Group Asia. Earlier in their career, they worked at M-I SWACO, where they held roles such as Vice President of Product Segments/Marketing & Technology and Senior Vice President of Eastern Hemisphere. Paterson also served as the Country Manager for M-I SWACO in Indonesia. David began their career at Schlumberger as a Field Engineer and went on to hold positions such as Operations Manager of Drilling Fluids and Field Service Manager for Dowell. Overall, Paterson has demonstrated a track record of driving business growth, optimizing performance, and expanding market share in the oil and gas industry.

David Paterson attended Robert Gordon University from 1989 to 1995, where they earned a BSc and MSC in Offshore Engineering.
