Gary Cole

Gary Cole is an experienced executive in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Vice President for the Eastern Hemisphere at Newpark since May 2022. Prior to this role, Gary held the position of Managing Partner at VR Consulting & Capital, specializing in business management and consultancy services with a focus on joint venture partnerships from June 2020 to April 2022. With a strong background at Schlumberger, Gary served as Director of Operations for the Drilling Group in North Africa and as Vice President of Global Operations for Environmental Solutions. Previous roles at M-I SWACO included Vice President for the Middle East and various managerial positions across Asia Pacific, Algeria, Egypt, and Singapore. Gary began the career at M-I SWACO (BW Group plc) in 1989 as Operations Manager in Copenhagen. Gary holds a degree from The University of Manchester, completed between 1980 and 1983.
