Vice President And CMO at New Pig Corporation

Andy James has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Andy is currently serving as the Chief Marketing Officer at New Pig since July 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President, Corporate Strategy at New Pig from January 2020 to July 2021. Before joining New Pig, Andy was the Director of Advanced Experience at New Pig from August 2017 to January 2020, where they focused on enhancing the customer experience. Andy also served as the Sustainability Manager at New Pig from July 2013 to August 2017, where they played a key role in implementing sustainable practices within the organization. Andy's career at New Pig started as a Brand Manager in March 2009, and they held this position until July 2013.

In addition to their work at New Pig, Andy has also contributed to Penn State University as an Author and Instructor for the BA 850 - Sustainability Driven Innovation course since August 2014. Their course is part of the Penn State OER Initiative and offers open courseware content when the semester is not in session.

Prior to joining New Pig and Penn State University, Andy worked at Olson Zaltman as a Senior Manager from November 2002 to March 2009. Here, they provided consumer behavior research and brand strategy consulting to renowned brands such as Audi, T. Rowe Price, Pepperidge Farm, MillerCoors, and New Pig. Andy had the opportunity to work closely with mentors during their time at Olson Zaltman.

Andy James has a diverse education history. From 1997 to 2002, they attended Penn State University where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the Schreyer Honors College. In 2013, they enrolled in Harvard University to pursue a Master's degree in Sustainability and Environmental Management. Andy completed their studies at Harvard in 2018. In addition to their formal education, Andy also obtained a Social and Behavioral Human Subjects Research Certification in May 2016 from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative at the University of Miami (CITI).
