NewPort Capital is an independent private equity firm focused on investing in Dutch based companies with a proven track record, considerable growth potential, and a strong and ambitious management team.

Growth in the broadest sense is realised by investing in businesses with whom we jointly develop a growth strategy. The business owner and management team remain or become partial shareholders according to their means, and continue to be responsible for the day-to-day management of the business: NewPort acts as a critical and engaged shareholder, functioning as a sounding board and sparring partner, and supporting the company with its network. Based on mutual trust and shared ambitions, we aim to strengthen the company together and realise value creation in the medium term.  

The businesses we invest in are generally characterised by a solid market position, a differentiating factor and ample growth potential. The latter may involve autonomous or acquisitive growth, either national or international. The NewPort team has a wealth of experience in supporting management teams in realising growth and value creation.

We focus on investments in majority shareholdings in existing Dutch (often internationally active) mid-market companies in the manufacturing, business or financial service industries, and the food and packaging sector. Typically, these companies have an annual operating profit ranging between € 2 and 7  million.
