Shaun Smith, P.E., is a civil engineer and project manager with over ten years of leadership experience and a commitment to public service. Shaun has actively managed engineering design projects in site development, land development, public utilities, and roadway engineering, supporting the growth of infrastructure in Houston. Appointed by Mayor Sylvester Turner, Shaun serves on the Harris-Galveston Subsidence District Board, representing Houston citizens in groundwater regulation. Additionally, Shaun held significant roles in student government at the University of Houston, including Student Body President, where they advocated for student interests and campus improvements. Currently pursuing an MBA at Rice Business, Shaun continues to enhance their expertise in real estate and civil engineering.
