Claus Kjærgaard

Claus Kjærgaard is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in process optimization and operations management. Currently serving as Head of Process and Optimization at Newsec since August 2025, Claus previously held multiple roles at Prokura from March 2012 to July 2025, including COO, Associate Principal, Project Manager, Senior Consultant, and Consultant. Additionally, Claus was Vice Chairman of the study board and a student counselor at the Technical University of Denmark from January 2008 to December 2011. Early career roles include Guide and Transfer Responsible at Uptours and First Lieutenant in Forsvaret. Claus holds an MSc in Engineering Management from the Technical University of Denmark and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, complemented by military leadership training from Løjtnantskolen i Oksbøl and Hærens Sergentskole i Sønderborg.
