Emily Keys

Emily Keys possesses extensive experience in education and account management. At Newsela, Emily held the positions of Account Executive for NYC-DOE & International Accounts and SMB, as well as School Recapture Specialist for Mid-Market and Enterprise from July 2023 to March 2024. Previously, Emily served as a Special Education Teacher and taught Visual Arts, Art and Media, and Visual Design for grades 7-12 at the NSW Department of Education from October 2015 to October 2021. Emily's background also includes a role as a Recruitment Specialist at Personnel Concept Group and teaching part-time at the NSW Department of Education. Additionally, Emily was a Customer Service Manager at The Executive Centre. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching and a Bachelor's degree in Fine/Studio Arts from the University of Sydney.
