Michael Katz

Michael Katz has extensive work experience in sales and sales development roles. Michael began their career in 2012 as a Marketing and Sales Intern at the New Britain Rock Cats Baseball Club and later worked as a Ticket Sales and Services Intern at the New York Mets. In 2012, they also served as a National Football League Brand Ambassador at Van Wagner Sports Group.

In 2013, Katz joined Professional Sports Publications as an Inside Advertising Sales Representative. Michael then moved on to Zocdoc in 2014, starting as a Sales Development Representative and later becoming an Inside Sales Executive and Senior Sales Executive. From 2015 to 2017, they served as a Sales Development Manager at Zocdoc.

Since 2017, Katz has been employed at Newsela. Michael'sroles at the company include Sales Development Manager, Senior Sales Development Manager, Director of Sales Development, and currently, Senior Director of Sales Development.

From 2008 to 2012, Michael Katz attended the University of Connecticut, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Promotion and Administration.
