Sean Perry

Sean Perry has over 15 years of experience working in software engineering roles. Sean currently serves as the Principal / Lead Developer at Newsela, a position they have held since March 2018. Prior to joining Newsela, Sean worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2015 to October 2016. Sean also has extensive experience at Symantec, where they held the role of Principal Software Engineer from March 2012 to March 2015, and again from June 2010 to January 2012. Additionally, Sean has held software engineering positions at GuardianEdge Technologies, Neoscale, Vicor Inc., Metavante Image Solutions, XenSource Inc., and Intransa Inc., where they gained valuable experience and expertise in various aspects of software development.

Sean Perry attended Old Dominion University from 1995 to 1999, where they pursued a field of study in Computer Science but did not obtain a degree.
